Entry #64: Obligitory Movie Tag Post
I sorta wrote this over two days, and since answering question #1, I have seen the Illustionist and it was great! Better than Fearless (although far less action packed.) All and all, a highly recommendable must see for people who like semi-mystery, quasi-science fiction, period pieces.
Also, I'm supposed to tag five other people to do this crap so here is my list. I dont expect any of you to actually do it if you don't want to and to be sure, this is the first and last one I'm going to do, so don't send any more in my direction.
Edit: holy crap! I pretty much wrote this thing at work and I guess I must have been pretty much distracted half the time cause my god, look at all the "typos." Can I even call them typos if its hand writen? I mean really... "Almosted?" "Celine Dion movie?" Its a song damn it. What was I thinking?? I guess, I probably wasn't thinking. I was probably answering the phone or something. This shit's already scanned; I'm not going back to fix it. Bleh.

These are always so hard! I need ones that really only call for one word Answers, and even then not serious. Thats the level of blogging I am at right now, which is just above sites like Pink is the new blog, and Xuague.
Sorry, I just completed a movie tag. By the way, Iām tagging you for ā12 longest sentences in the Old Testament.ā No? Ok, never mind.
Hey Serena, I liked your list. I also think tLK was a great movie, and Scar was awesome! It's somewhere in my top 5 too, if I was listing.
Oh, my gawd, I've been tagged! I've never been tagged before! And I've taken a long weekend this week, so I'll have a chance to do it!
Ahem.
I have to agree on Scar. Disney (not normally a fav) totally got that one spot on.
Hello S. Your taste is as always impeccable (although Madagascar sucked, penguins or not...) I stumbled upon your secret lair quite by "accident" (googled serenagold) and decided (against my better judgement) to drop you a comment: You're still among the funniest, smartest and nicest people I've ever come accross and I'm sure that I'm not the only one that recognice these character traits in you. I'm really sorry to hear about your bf's health problem and your trouble with school and I really hope he gets well. I have a great confidence in your abilities and I know you'll sort out your academical troubles. Seriously, it's damned hard to stand out against the murky background noise (mixed metaphors?) that is the intranets and you've never seemed to have any problems with it - I'm sure you'll shine in whatever setting of your choosing. You're great J. and you're nuts if you think you haven't accomplished anything, nuts I tell you!
p.s. My Fair Lady >> Singing in the rain (but that's just my personal opinion)
Hey Serena, thanks for tagging me. Irene tagged me for the same meme a few days ago, and you can read it on my blog if you are so inclined. I enjoyed the Labyrinth and Neverending Story nods. We must be the same age cuz those were regular rotations in my video library too.
ack! mysterious stranger from the past!!!
who could it be?! who could it be?!! probably someone from pb for sure, but who?!
You're welcome! In all seriousness though, the only worthwhile part of Titanic for me was all the shots from far away of the ship sinking, and all the people sliding down the decks when it was at a 90 degree angle with the water.
Loved "Fearless".
And c'mon now, tagging says LOVE. Maybe not your kind of love, maybe it's the kind of love that gives you creepy-crawlies up your spine, but it's someone's love, all the same. :) And it got you to draw Jet Li.
Oh yeah, someone who loves the labyrinth as much as me! Seriously, could David Bowie be any cooler? And I have all the songs from the movie on my iPod. Classic.
So who's the stranger?
Peace on earth...
Someone at work keeps telling me to rent Amelie. Since you describe it as a movie no one should skip, I think I will have to rent it a.s.a.p.
Hi Serena, I really enjoy your blog - although I can't get over how somebody actually takes the time to write stuff down in this day and age.
I like your movie picks also and I think we have similar tastes. By the way, what did you think of Little Miss Sunshine? I thought it was like a more focused version of the Royal Tanenbaums (I'm also looking forward to Running with Scissors which is in a similar vein I think).
Hi Serena...This is Mimi Lenox. I would like to place this awesome one-of-a-kind meme in Book Meme Central. If that's OK with you please email me. Great post!
